However, one thing about people on the internet is fundamental. Often times, people are looking information on the internet, and help on certain areas. They may be looking for things they are interested in, or they need some help or guidance for a big decision. What you can do is to brand yourself as a valuable asset to these people. Make them recognize you as an authority and make them want to come back to you for further information.
So the missing link to getting the most out of dominating your niche is by branding not only your business but yourself. This is why the gurus have gotten as far and as well known as they are. The absolute best method to go about dominating and make you look like an expert opposed to a newbie is by giving your target audience what they want. Not only that, but for free. That means without pocketing one single penny, and making everybody recognize you as not just another salesman. Make yourself into a genuine person that wants to help and provide these people what they want. People don’t go to a doctor because they are a salesman. They are looking for a fix or solution and only a doctor can do it.
However, will they go to a doctor just because they offer the best service? Maybe. The chances are they have a primary care physician that they are established with and trusts. This is a very important aspect of dominating your niche, and is one of the most effective ways to brand yourself. It’s the issue with trust that many people overlook or just ignore.
If you’re just starting out and wish to become an instant guru, there are many fast track methods for doing this. Yet the best way to do it without any prior knowledge or any prior reputation is by building up your own name. Don’t look at yourself as a nobody or else you’ll stay one. Establish the mindset that you’re here to help people on whatever the market you are targeting. Many people get confused and start off just selling to people. Of course this may work and will continue to work to some extent.
Yet mindset is very important and by doing so, you’ll have a very powerful weapon that others may not have or pay very close attention to. By now you may be asking some questions.
How do I start branding myself?
There are many ways to get a head start on this. One such method is to participate in popular forums and get your use your full name or a recognized one. Don’t use “Superman1337″ but instead “Bob Jones” or something similar to it. Then establish your credibility by being there and actually provide yourself as a resource to these people. Other ways to do this include making an active decision to write an informative blog and even a Squido page. You want people to listen to what you have to say and regularly tune in to what you have. Podcasts are another option, but that’s only if you have the tech experience to work with those.
On the front-end you should be giving quality and informative ideas to people. Make sure they aren’t complete junk and people can actually put them to good use.
The mindset is simple, and it’s really mostly about branding. The more times your name or company pops up, the more times people are going to think of you as the solution to their problem. So don’t procrastinate and start getting to work. Things will pay off when you are established in your niche.
